Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA has produced many classics. Journey’s
Escape
, which included “Don’t Stop Believin’” and Green Day’s
Dookie
are among them. So twenty years ago (August 22) it was no surprise that Fantasy Studios had another act bursting onto the scene in a big way.
...And Out Come the Wolves , the third album of Rancid’s to be recorded at Fantasy Studios is to date the bad’s most successful. With hits like Ruby Soho, Time Bomb and Roots Radicals, how could it not be? Enjoy you Friday by listening to the album in its entirety...
Or just listen to my favorite track from the album, Old Friend.
Happy Friday. Crank It!

One of my favorite albums ever. I bought it close to when I came out. I remember buying Dookie and Smash around that time too. We had just bought this little Panasonic boom box with a CD player for something like $400. Those were my first CD’s. At some point in the early 2000’s I ripped them with iTunes and they are still in my library. My mom still has that boom box. They don’t build them like they used too. I can't believe that was 20 years ago. I'm in my early 30s but now I feel old.

I’m listening to it right now. Tim posted it on the band’s facebook page yesterday.

This album is so fucking good. One of the first few albums I listened to when I was first really getting into music when I was growing up.

Hard to believe this is 20 years old. Can't even say the last time I listened to this one all the way through. Good album. Although I fucking hate Ruby Soho. lol
